Environmental Sustainable Design principles form one of the pillars we base our design approach on and therefore significant effort goes into research for broadening and refining our knowledge base in this particular field. New and existing technologies and materials are constantly re-assessed, reviewed and tested and, if found suitable, implemented into our designs. To minimise the environmental impact of construction and occupation of the built environment, careful environmental studies must be performed and negative entrenched practices must be avoided. However contemporary design and culturally significant architecture need not be a separate paradigm from Environmentally Sustainable Design.
